Spring Recap and Looking forward!

It's been an eventful few months here in Rationales land.

Sean welcomed his second child and took a little time off, which gave original Rationales bassist John Maloney (of Monophonic) a turn at filling his old shoes and holding down the low end for a while.

We were honored to be invited to participate on the 2012 Rock n Roll Rumble and were very excited to advance after winning our preliminary night. We ended up as semi-finalists and had a great time attending every night, making lots of new friends and seeing 24 great bands - many of whom you'll see us playing with again in coming months!

Our new single Radio (still available for free download on the home page) was voted "Best Local Song 2012" by the listeners of WMWM 91.7 Radio at Salem State College!

We also had a great string of shows at TTs, Tommy Doyle's, Radio and Gulu Gulu cafe in Salem.

Most notable of this time is that we're debuting lots of new material lately and are eager to get back in the studio soon for either a series of EPs or another full length... either way we're all really excited about the direction things are going.

Upcoming shows include a great bill at Precinct on June 22 with The Vivs, Frank Grahm and Eddie Japan, a trip to NYC in July (7/21 at Arlene's Grocery) and our big show of the summer on 8/3 at the Middle East with The Susan Constant, When Particles Collide and The Self Proclaimed Rockstars. Its going to be a good summer!
