Thanks to Liz Cook for opening the night. So good!
We got to play a nice LONG set which had us debuting a couple of new songs - digging out some old gems, and trying our luck at covers ranging from Fake Plastic Trees to Love Shack and more. (some of this is not true).
It was a great precursor to a huge show we're playing this coming week - THIS THURS, (Oct 4) at RADIO in Union Square - we are part of a dream bill - The Rationales with Brendan Boogie's new roots/soul outfit The Broken Gates - and our 2012 Rumble pals The Grownup Noise. Its a nice early night at Radio and will be your last chance to see our pal Pete as a Rationale. It promises to be a really fun night and its only $5 - we really hope to see you.

Re-reading the first paragraph above i'm reminded of this:
"When Chekhov saw the long winter, he saw a winter bleak and dark and bereft of hope. Yet we know that winter is just another step in the cycle of life.
